Purpose Built Facilities
The creche is purpose built and Health Board inspected. It contains one large main playroom and one smaller baby/toddler room where the children can integrate and socialise together, which gives them a chance to learn from each other. They learn to have respect and care for the smaller children, whilst the older children act as role models.
The creche is located on a large country site with ample parking and an enclosed outside play area. This play area consists of a cemented circular track for cycling, with separate grass and safety rubber surfacing areas for safe play. Children are encouraged to explore nature, and are actively involved in planting flowers.
The separate sleep room contains cots for under twos and beds for older children. This room has a peep window and baby monitor, and is checked every fifteen minutes to ensure the safety of the children whilst they sleep. The separate toilet room has partitioned, child-sized toilets and sinks, as well as wheelchair access. This room also contains a baby-changing unit.
